Australian Labradoodle Caramel & Donnan puppies 2013

WEEK 1

We came into this world, exactly on the 62nd day of pregnancy of our mother caramels.
The day before, mother scared our Lady because her temperature rose very much. She thought we were about to be born, but it was just bowel problems.
The next day we were born. First giants 360 grams and then babies 260 grams. It's a big difference, but we'll make up for it. We were born 8 (4 girls and 4 boys). Each of us was given a ribbon of a different color to distinguish us.
We are weighed every day so that you can rest assured that we are gaining weight appropriately.
The lady keeps telling us that we have to double our weight in a week. Well, we eat ... as much as we can.
Now we sleep with our mum.
Ah – one more thing. The lady started doing early neurological stimulation
He holds us up, sometimes we're upside down, sometimes on our backs, our paws are tickled and placed on a cold towel.
Such exercises at a young age are already developing connections between cells in our brains. Thanks to them, they become more resistant to stress, our circulation improves, the rhythm of our hearts beats stabilizes, etc. To learn more, please read the article Caramen Battalgia - Early Neurological Stimulation.
However, the lady repeats that such exercises should not be performed by inexperienced breeders because overstimulation can cause dysregulation of our nervous systems. It is very easy to stimulate - just extend the time of exercise by 2 seconds. So you should never, ever do that.

WEEK 2

What a nice week. Our eyes are still closed and we have already known so many scents. Mushrooms,
green tea, cinnamon, coffee, eggshells, flowers, leaves, herbs…etc. Our Lady says that even when we sleep, the connections between the cells in our brain are made. We are developing very quickly - eyes are still closed and we are already starting the first games of biting each other.
The lady must have trimmed our nails already because we were scratching our mum while eating. We still sleep and eat a lot - it's hard work on our development.
Early neurological stimulation is still in progress. A few seconds of stress is good for our nervous system.
We are slowly starting to walk, it looks funny because we are wobbly on our feet. Some of us open our eyes at the end of week 2. We do not see yet - only shadows, light, movement.
You've been reading a lot about visual stimulation. And he sleeps with us. Sometimes we'll crawl to her when mom goes to the far corner of our room.
Fabian helps sooooo much. Because our Lady broke her leg, Fabian brings food to our mum.
We also got deworming paste for the first time, but mom immediately licked our mouths. The Lady says we must be healthy and strong. So we're listening - yet; -)

WORK ON THE SENSE OF Smell

WEEK 3

So we grow and we grow. And very quickly. You're doing a little different exercise this week.
We've finished early neurological stimulation, and you're working on our diaphragms and labyrinths now. These exercises, he says, make us immune to motion sickness. The lady says that by the time we get into the car for the first time, we'll be ready for it.
Of course we don't want to vomit in the car - we want to enjoy driving with our families ;)
We tried some yogurt for the first time.
Our ears are already open and we listen to something we already know. The lady plays us a CD with prenatal sounds - our mother's heartbeat and the sound of amniotic fluid. The lady says that it is very important that we hear such sounds for the first time when we open our ears. We associate them with safety and our Lady wants us to safely enter a new unknown world - the world of sounds.
These sounds are used extensively in shelters to calm the animals staying there. The lady told us how she played these sounds to our daddy when he didn't like driving after arriving from Australia.
The lady is also massaging us. This is a special Shantala massage. We love it and we are all massaged from head to toe every other day.
We also admire the bottled scents of another world - the world from the outside. It will help us a lot when we take our first steps there.
These black and white cards that you have prepared will be used for visual games.
We have already started running, we run as fast as our legs allow. Sometimes we crawl on your mattress - when she's watching a documentary :)

WE MASSAGE PUPPIES

WEEK 4

Ah, what an adventure it was last week! We did so many things. The lady allows us to listen to many sounds from the CD. At the very beginning, for habituation to take place (so that we don't get scared because otherwise we would be afraid of them for the rest of our lives) the sounds must be very soft. Then they can be played a little louder. We already know: various birds, storm, lightning, rain, wind,
Screaming children, laughing children, whales, barking dogs, wolves, roaring tiger, monkeys, elephants, bears, pigs, frogs, crickets, horses, sheep, chickens, roosters, growling dogs, fireworks, gunshots, ambulance, balloon blowing.
The lady says that this is the most important period for us. The most important time in our lives, now we are open to the world around us. That is why it is so important to work with us right now - at this moment when we are curious about everything.
Some of us sleep in a food bowl ;)
We sniff a lot when we enter a new environment and use a whole arsenal of calming signals. We also met other dogs in the family.
The lady is doing something with us called visual stimulation.
We get to know the smells of different animals. And the lady still massages us a lot, which of course we LOVE.
Our diaphragms will be stimulated until next week.
We are already getting to know other rooms. The lady made us an enriched environment that consisted of yogurt boxes and delicious treats (our food) hidden inside. We sniffed, we ate, and then we all fell. The lady says that a few minutes of such snooping tire us more than 15 minutes of running.
Of course we listen to her!

SOCIALIZATION - DIFFERENT SOUNDS

SOUNDS AND SMELLS

VISUAL STIMULATION

WEEK 5

This week the Lady and her family started needlework. They were all involved in doing some weird stuff. They filled some strange bottles with pebbles, glued boxes, rolls of toilet paper.

We've been wondering for a long time what were they doing? But then it turned out. These different things made different sounds. Bottles made of glass, plastic, metal - each sounds completely different! Boxes and rolls of paper have been transformed into "smart" toys for sniffing and solving tasty puzzles.
In this way, Edyta and Fabian prepared a wonderful enriched environment for us. Now we get most of our food by smelling. In this way, we calm down and are relaxed after such a dose of sniffing fun. Then we go to sleep immediately. In addition, while sniffing, we get to know different sounds - after all, these objects fall over. While sniffing, the Lady also shows us a mixer, a dryer, a blender, a vacuum cleaner.
You can see everything in the videos. We meet other dogs in our cottage and other people who visit us.
Now our temperaments are also developing and the Lady says it's nice to look at it. We follow them everywhere :)

WEEK 6

But there's a lot going on right now! We keep meeting new people, we were outside for the first time. Believe it or not, we weren't afraid of anything! This is the result of work on early neurological stimulation. Our paws were already on something cold. do you remember?
The lady also took us for a walk…at night. We could meet shadows that adult dogs are sometimes afraid of. We went to the vet for the first time. And you know what? We felt at home in the car! Fabian was sitting with us, cheering us up with his scent.
Our enriched environment has expanded. We have balloons now… sometimes they pop. We also ate our first smoked bones. The lady was very proud of us - we didn't argue about them at all.
Of course, we are still being massaged, which we like very much - naturally!

PUPPIES AND GUESTS

WEEK 7

It was a nice week. We focused on:

– Meeting new people
– Going out at night and in the rain
– Solving minor problems (how to get down from a tree pile)
– We were in different places (we went to the mountains, to the vet)
- We were in the forest
- By the lake
– We saw the Ducks – a very interesting meeting
We walked on different surfaces
– We met strange people – little foreigners;)

The number one attraction is of course Fabian, who sleeps with us and takes care of us. He is very involved in working with us. He was so tired recently that he fell asleep on the vet's floor. The lady had to take a picture…all she heard was snoring

WEEK 8

This week:
We felt the snow under our paws
– We went to see the horses, but unfortunately they were not taken out of the stables. Instead, we ran on the agility track.
– we had guests with a dog – which we liked very much
We met different people
We walked between the rungs of the ladder. A special calming and concentration exercise invented by Ms. Tellington
– we learn basic commands so that we know what positive reinforcement training means
– strange people came to us and did something called – temperament tests
– we managed to overcome a real agility course
– we walked on 12 different surfaces according to Margaret Hughes' golden twelve rules
