Although hip dysplasia occurs in both poodles and labradors, it is rare in dogs from the Rutland line. Out of approximately seven thousand puppies bred, less than twenty were diagnosed with dysplasia. All breeding dogs are DNA tested for carrying the gene responsible for progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), hip and elbow dysplasia and Von Hillebrand's Disease Type I.
The results of the above tests showed that all female dogs and the stud of Hairy Passion are free from defects. Test results available from the breeder.
As a breeder of Australian Labradoodles, I am committed to breeding healthy, free from genetic defects, properly socialized dogs. I only allow breeding dogs and female dogs whose appropriate tests confirm that they are free from genetic defects.
We are so confident in our dogs that we equip each puppy with the so-called "Health guarantee" covering genetic and birth defects.
If your Labradoodle is diagnosed with a genetic disease, we take full responsibility.
The warranty is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable to the next owner
However, we are not responsible for any diseases or death of the animal caused by the owners' negligence. For example, those caused by the lack of vaccinations, diseases transmitted by external and internal parasites or excessive exploitation of the dog during the puppy period. Therefore, wanting to make sure that our puppies are provided with proper care and proper nutrition, we visit the owners for the first few years, who in turn are obliged to allow us such a visit.
